Account Handover

  • The following details will be required when handing accounts over to us.
  • Debtors full name
  • Current/past addresses
  • Known phone numbers
  • Employer name and number
  • Omang/ ID/Passport number
  • Amount Outstanding
  • Total amount owing and its due date
  • Original invoice number / your debt reference (i.e.: statement)

Non Responsive Debtors

After the initial phone call and door to door visitations. Letters of Demand giving notice of legal action is sent to all non responsive debtors stating that legal action will follow. If there is still no response, a polite but firm phone call is made in a final attempt to resolve the debt.

 

Assessment of Accounts (aftercare services);

This involves reviewing correspondence and previous payment history including all previous promises / assurances made by the customer / debtor.

Establishing causes of slow down in receivables.

  • Customer dissatisfaction
  • Insufficient collection effort
  • Sales to financially weak customers
  • Debtor’s contact details are no longer valid.
  • Debtor is slow in making payment by habit
  • Debtor misunderstood terms

Absconded debts

For debts that can only be resolved in the court rooms, Creditco will submit these accounts to the client’s legal advising firm with all our findings for collection. Creditco will also give the client the option of using our in house legal team for litigations.

NB: Creditco maintains our policy of no collections, no fees on litigation files. All costs are charged to the debtor.
